Based out of Boulder, Colorado, Rescue Atlantis at first glance might fall into the post-rock/punk genre, but upon further listen their music is of an indeterminate style that's all their own. Sounding slightly more self-assured and upbeat than the emo tinge of the post-hardcore scene, RA draws its impetus from bands like Circa Survive, Explosions In The Sky, Taking Back Sunday, and Alexisonfire, with commensurate skill and sound! Slated to release their first recorded EP in the near future, Rescue Atlantis are here to set the world on fire.
